Hand-loomed and undyed natural cashmere forms the basis of this pretty exclusive selection of timeless Pashmina shawls adorned with intricate border embroidery. The hand embroidery, skillfully executed by our highly accomplished artisans, features the finest Kashmiri mulberry silk. Crafting each of these shawls is a labor of love, requiring three to four months to achieve perfection.
As a testament to their handmade origin, our Pashmina shawls are meticulously crafted from hand-spun wool, hand-dyed, hand-washed from the Ladakh plateau, and adorned with hand embroidery. This artisanal process naturally leads to variations in color and weave, adding to the unique charm and authenticity of these Kashmiri shawls.
The embroidery is done in the popular Sozni style, a needlepoint technique from the Kashmir valley of Hazratbal in Northern India, where Kashmir artisans have been practicing Sozni embroidery for over 500 years.
